My sister gave me this frosting recipe many years ago thinking it was the Wilton’s frosting recipe. Turns out it isn’t, but it is still delicious! If you want to make the frosting the Wilton’s way the recipe is available on their website. I prefer this method for cookies because I normally make a bunch and the correct recipe calls for meringue powder. Meringue powder can add up cost wise if you’re using 1 TBS per pound of powdered sugar.
